Eugene Matthias is one of the countries top Comedy Magicians and Motivational Speaker's. He is President of the Magic Club of Great Britain and has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with his unique style of comedy, magic, fun and laughter.
His educational show is called 'The Ugly Duckling & the Magic Wand' and is the story of his life. He uses this to demonstrate what you can achieve with Self Belief , Commitment and Teamwork. He was a very shy fat child with no confidence and suffered from Dyslexia, seen by most as stupid, this lead to many years of bullying.
His is the story of a young boy, at the bottom of the pile trying to beat the odds, but by talking to family and friends they helped him through the bad times. He was given a magic box of tricks for Christmas and realised he had a skill, with self belief and commitment he finally reached the top, being accepted by all. His struggle continued through his working life because of the Dyslexia, but again with Self Belief and Teamwork he gets through. Finally, he becomes a professional entertainer, reaching the top, mixing with the rich and famous.

- That everyone is special and has a skill, but they need to find it by trying different things.
- He tells them 'Success Comes in Cans', they need to say 'I Can Do It'. If they say 'I Can't' they will never be successful.
- To be successful you need to believe in yourself and start this with small GOALs, to prove to themselves they can do it.
- Teamwork & Commitment makes it easier to become successful.
- Children are given an understanding of what to do if they find themselves being bullied and a call to action, that they need to talk to an adult (family & friends).
Along the way there's lots of fun, laughter and audience participation, his talk ends with a show.
Fees: £175 for 1 hour talk.
Expenses: None within 30 miles of Bedford...... above 30 miles charge is 40p a mile.

Many thanks for entertaining us at our Masonic white table evening we held in November. There were so many comments on the amazing show and how funny you were.
